Infrastructure Project Management Position

Sector: Infrastructure, Location: London, UK

Pegasus Search & Selection seeks an accomplished Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior Cost Manager to join their consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Infrastructure sector, specifically in Water, Power, Utilities, Rail, or Aviation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assume primary responsibility for Cost Management, ensuring effective budget monitoring and control.
  • Deliver accurate cost forecasts, reports, and monitoring to guarantee projects meet budget targets.
  • Recognize, manage, and report cost variations, ensuring timely and accurate contract cash flow.

Contract Oversight:

  • Oversee diverse contracts, including NEC3 (Option C) and NEC4, aligning with project objectives and governance policies.
  • Effectively manage contract changes, adhering to best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all contractual submissions are prepared and submitted accurately and promptly.

Team Collaboration and Performance:

  • Work cooperatively with client and contractor teams to achieve project milestones and KPIs.
  • Contribute to program performance, cost control, and value engineering initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in forecasting and budget accuracy, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Leadership and Expertise:

  • Support the enhancement of cost management processes and best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of professional growth and development.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, experience working on major infrastructure projects, and a solid understanding of contract management, cost management, change management, risk management, procurement, estimating, pricing, reporting, and collaborative approach.

We offer £60,000 - £77,000 plus car/travel allowance, opportunities to work with esteemed clients on notable projects, support for career development, and a dynamic work environment.
