About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Manager to join our Strategic Resource Management function for GSK global Research & Development (R&D).

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive functional resource discussions to assist leaders in understanding resource deployment and anticipate potential bottlenecks.
  • Ensure access to comprehensive resource management data, including demand, capacity, actual hours, and portfolio size/shape.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners to increase transparency and confidence in resource planning.
  • Support the development of resource management processes, systems, reports, and analytics.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for projects and functional partners.
  • Develop and maintain algorithms for high-quality forecasts in GSK's data consumption domain.
About You

The successful applicant will have knowledge/experience of resource forecasting and business operations, ideally gained from working in a complex, highly-regulated industry. Strong analytical and data skills, including proficiency with Excel and Power BI, are essential. Experience with Planisware is highly advantageous. You will also think creatively to answer complex resourcing questions and have strong interpersonal skills suited to working in a complex, interdisciplinary matrix environment.

Basic Qualifications
  • Relevant knowledge/experience of resource forecasting.
  • A relevant degree (e.g., supply chain, business, finance).
  • Knowledge/experience of using Excel.
  • Demonstrable skill at managing complex resourcing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge/experience of Planisware and Power BI.
