The M25 serves as a pivotal segment of the UK Strategic Road Network, accommodating over 200,000 vehicles daily, thus representing a critical infrastructure asset for the movement of individuals and goods in and around the capital. As part of our premier initiatives, Egis Road Operation UK Ltd is engaged in the expansion, operation, and maintenance of the M25 under a long-term agreement. We are currently in search of Project Coordinators to manage various M25 Highways projects, overseeing initiatives from design inception to completion, which encompass structures, tunnels, highways, and technology across the M25 network.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee multiple projects at various stages of the project lifecycle
- Assume responsibility for each project, guiding scheme development, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders, and ensuring successful project outcomes
- Engage with both internal and external key stakeholders
- Manage the commercial and financial aspects of projects
- Efficiently coordinate and supervise both internal and external resources
- Lead project gateways and conduct cost reviews
- Adhere to established project governance protocols
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress
- Participate in the Collaborative M25 Community and support sustainability efforts
- Embody the core values of Egis Road Operation UK Ltd
- Experience in Project Management, ideally with recognized certifications such as PRINCE2 or APMP
- A degree in a relevant discipline
- Familiarity with Highway or Structures Engineering
- Understanding of CDM, Health & Safety, and Environmental regulations
- Knowledge of NEC and other pertinent contracts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Focus on safety management
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage time
- Adaptable and flexible in response to project needs
- Commitment to ongoing personal development and learning
- Organizational skills
- Willingness to travel for meetings
- Occasional site visits, including potential night shifts
- A valid Full Driving License is required
