Heavy Plant Equipment Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance on a diverse range of plant equipment, including diggers, dumpers, rollers, excavators, and forklifts.
  • Respond to customer site breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform repairs and servicing on plant machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies at all times.
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with plant equipment, preferably in a hire industry setting.
  • Knowledge of plant machinery, including operational procedures and maintenance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
