GSL Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies for improving student engagement and behaviour.

The ideal candidate will be a resilient and committed individual with a positive attitude to supporting pupils with challenging behaviour. You will have experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities, and be able to provide one-to-one support to help them achieve their full potential.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable working in environments with challenging behaviour, and have a passion for working with students who have additional needs. You will also need to be available to work 5 days per week.

Experience in SEMH/PRU settings, youth work, police or army, sports coaching and mentoring, or graduates in sport, psychology, drama and counselling and therapy are desirable.

To apply for this role, you will need to have the right to work in the UK, an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years, and a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
