About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team of professionals in East London. As a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and Speech, Language & Communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide targeted support to students with special educational needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and Speech, Language & Communication needs.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to implement tailored support strategies that address the individual needs of each student.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour, promoting positive interactions and a conducive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
