SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Valley Invicta Primary School in Aylesford. As a Specialist ASD/Communication and Interaction Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a successful learning environment for a small group of pupils with SEN needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Development: Work with colleagues to develop a bespoke provision for EYFS and Year 1 pupils with ASD/Communication and Interaction needs.
- Interventions and Planning: Oversee the planning and provision of specialist ASD/Communication and Interaction interventions across the whole school.
- Collaboration: Direct the work of the Specialist ASD/Communication and Interaction Teaching Assistant and liaise with the SENCO, Trust Lead SRP Teachers, and Trust Director of SEN.
- Professional Development: Provide formal and informal training, development, and support to school staff to enhance their understanding and strategies for supporting SEN pupils.
- Individualized Curriculum: Plan and implement a highly individualized curriculum for pupils with specific SEN needs.
- External Collaboration: Work closely with external professionals to deliver and monitor effective specialist interventions.
- Monitoring and Communication: Implement tracking processes to monitor key data for pupils in the provision and promote positive communication with parents.
