Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at Culina Group. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth transitions when loading and unloading trailers, while maintaining high standards of maintenance and safety.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe and adhere to company rules, site procedures, and Health & Safety guidelines at all times.
  • Effectively manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure completion of shift reports.
  • Conduct daily checks, report defects or damage, and complete associated documentation.
  • Carry out trailer checks on loaded trailers and report to operations staff.
  • Complete trailer checklists and report to the operations desk.
  • Perform shunting duties, including relevant maintenance and safety checks.
  • Liaise with warehouse control and goods-in staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of trailers.
  • Complete vehicle downloads as per company policy.
  • Maintain services and MOTs, liaising with the Transport Office and service vendors.
  • Assist with fuel delivery and manual dipping of fuel.
  • Keep the yard clean and tidy.
  • Liaise with the Transport Office as required.
  • Manage traffic flow in and out of the yard.
