Job Title: Youth Ministry Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Youth Ministry Leader to join our team at New Wine Trust.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, experience in managing youth programs, and a strong understanding of the needs of 10-16-year-olds in Widnes.

The successful applicant will oversee the development and implementation of youth ministry initiatives, leading a team of volunteer youth leaders and working closely with local schools and colleges.

This includes creating engaging programs that provide opportunities for 10-16-year-olds to grow and develop, while also ensuring a consistent and relevant presence within the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective youth ministry strategies
  • Lead and support a team of volunteer youth leaders
  • Collaborate with local schools and colleges to deliver youth programs

Working Environment:

New Wine Trust has a fun, friendly, and supportive work environment where we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those in Widnes.

The successful candidate will be expected to work 5 hours per week, 2 days per week to be agreed, with Thursday evening youth club being a priority.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • Good standard of English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE)
  • Youth Worker qualification or other similar qualification
  • Safeguarding training or qualifications

Daily Work:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging youth programs
  • Meet regularly with volunteers to provide guidance and support
