About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conveyancing Team Lead to join our team at Sterling Cross. As a key member of our Residential Conveyancing department, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload and leading a team of conveyancers to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, financial advisors, and estate agents to ensure seamless communication and timely completion of transactions.
  • Manage a caseload of sales, purchases, equity releases, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Generate fee income in line with agreed targets, demonstrating commercial acumen and business development skills.
  • Lead and manage a team of conveyancers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they meet performance expectations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing a high-volume Residential Conveyancing caseload, with a proven track record of success.
  • A relevant qualification, such as a solicitor, CILEx, or CLC, or equivalent experience in managing a caseload.
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience with case management systems.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand and meet business targets.
  • Forward-thinking, entrepreneurial, and dynamic, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
