Job Title: Senior CAD Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CAD Engineer to join our team in Body Structures. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions to meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Lead Engineer in day-to-day activities and other tasks as required.
  • Develop and maintain engineering systems and quality systems.
  • Participate in cross-functional integration reviews and provide technical advice and guidance.
  • Drive closure of issues and establish cost, weight, and timing impacts.
  • Support the generation and development of design rules and guidelines.
  • Deliver engineering project work for both parent company and third-party customers.
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified or similar qualification as a minimum.
  • CAD operation skills required, with a focus on geometry generation.
  • Catia v5/v6 operative skills, with high technical competence in 3D geometry and sectional data generation.
  • Experience of using TCUA and PLM is preferable.
  • Engineering experience in delivery of designated module systems in the automotive sector or similar industries.
  • Evidence of engineering skills, including ability to manage and resolve engineering issues.
