About the Role

We are seeking a skilled social media editor to enhance our existing content by reimagining it for social media platforms. This role will involve working closely with the video and social team to transform our content for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. You will be responsible for prioritizing and efficiently managing a range of content to meet pressing deadlines.

This is a hybrid role, with a balance of working from our London office and remotely. Please note that this is an initial 3-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify key clips for social media from finished pieces
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and analyze what generates the most views
  • Collaborate with the team to obtain necessary assets
  • Export and track edits
  • Work with the social team and management to prioritize edits
Required Skills
  • Mid-weight knowledge of Premiere Pro
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and native content performance
  • Up-to-date knowledge of social media platforms, with a focus on YouTube
  • Familiarity with video codecs and file formats for social media
  • Basic understanding of file servers and NAS
  • Understanding of content consumption and distribution in a digital context
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to follow strict workflow and procedures
  • Experience with QCing different media formats
  • Enthusiasm for editing and learning new formats
  • Mac user
  • Good team player
