We seek a dedicated and experienced Rheumatology Consultant to join our team at Uhmb. This fulfilling role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of our department's services.

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum, acknowledging the value we place on attracting top consultants. Our 10-session contract allows for a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you have time to recharge and focus on delivering outstanding care.

The ideal candidate will possess MBBS and MRCP qualifications or equivalent, as well as full GMC Registration with a licence to practice. We require entry on the Specialist Register or receipt of CCT within six months of interview.

You will play a vital role in developing rheumatology services for our local population. Your expertise in rheumatology medicine, complemented by experience in special interests and locum consultant-level roles, will enhance our department's capabilities.

We prioritize clinicians who are willing to teach medical students and doctors in training, as well as participate in multidisciplinary teams. Your knowledge of multidisciplinary clinical audit principles and direct involvement in specific audits will drive quality improvement initiatives forward.
