About the Role

We are seeking a talented UI-UX Developer to join our team, who will work closely with analysts, developers, and testers to enhance our portfolio of internal applications.

As a UI-UX Developer, you will be responsible for implementing feature-rich, interactive user interfaces for our bespoke applications, which are critical in supporting various areas of the business, including Fraud and Risk, Customer Due Diligence, Responsible Gambling, Technology, and Customer Service.

You will shape the future direction of our user interfaces, ensuring that new technologies are considered as they become available, while also considering UX best practices and striving to provide the best customer experience possible.

This role is eligible for inclusion in our hybrid working from home policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality front-end code with a focus on quality, efficiency, and speed to market.
  • Supporting product owners as required.
  • Ensuring UI consistency both internally within applications and between our application product set.
  • Supporting and enhancing the existing code base.
  • Working individually and with the team to produce high-quality applications.
  • Making the best use of technology, learning new skills as required.
  • Creating work effort estimates as required.
  • Supporting all phases of projects.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience in coding in HTML5 and CSS 3.
  • Good understanding of SASS, LESS, REACT, TypeScript, Adobe XD, and other similar UI prototyping tools.
  • Experience with CSS animations and transitions.
  • Knowledgeable experience of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience with mobile-first responsive design.
  • Consideration for UX.
  • Passionate about software development and technology.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
