Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Global Engineering Talent. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning, scheduling, and budgeting of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Management: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure project success.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and company policies across all project stages.
  • Resource Coordination: Oversee internal and external resources, including contractors and third-party vendors, to ensure optimal project performance.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed project reports, maintain comprehensive documentation, and communicate project status to senior management.

Requirements:

  • 7+ Years' Experience: Proven experience in project management within the buildings or infrastructure sectors, with exposure to commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and hotel projects.
  • UK-Based Experience: Familiarity with UK construction regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Project Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) and tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, make informed decisions, and manage competing project priorities.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction, design, and contract administration.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Analytical and proactive in identifying and resolving project challenges.
