About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Science Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Bath. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering science lessons to Key Stage 4 students, who are currently studying for their GCSEs.

The school provides an inclusive and nurturing approach to learning, and our students have been medically signed off from mainstream school. As a Science Teacher, you will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants who will help you meet the individual needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver science lessons to Key Stage 4 students
  • Develop and implement engaging science curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants to support student learning
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and GCSE content
  • Experience of teaching students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Ability to manage the classroom effectively and build strong relationships with students and colleagues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
