Overview

In beBee Professionals, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead our development team in the UK. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions while mentoring junior developers and ensuring code quality.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Design, develop, and implement high-performance software applications.
  • Code Reviews: Lead technical decision-making processes and conduct code reviews.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior software engineers in best practices.
  • Project Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Code Maintenance: Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug software issues as they arise.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software development is necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript is required.
  • Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are necessary.
  • Proven experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
