As a Maintenance Team Leader at EDF UK, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating team activities and resources to ensure full compliance with agreed safety and environmental standards and expectations. Promoting and leading a safety culture in all team activities.

Ultimately, you will lead and manage your team with responsibility for the safety, effectiveness, productivity, and quality of work of the maintenance team, while reporting directly to the Maintenance Group Head.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of multiskilled technicians carrying out maintenance to the highest standards in line with the conduct of maintenance and the Maintenance department fundamentals.
  • Allocating work to team members in accordance with the planned work schedules.
  • Commitment to improving all aspects of quality both within their existing team and across other teams comprising of multi-discipline trades.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead and develop a team, with experience in a complex industry such as gas & oil, steel, manufacturing, or similar.
  • Highly committed to safety and quality improvement.
  • Strong human performance culture and commitment to promote HU within the team.
  • Ability to coach others and a good understanding of the work management process.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to lead and develop a team, experience with this could be within a complex industry, such as, gas & oil, steel, manufacturing or similar. You will have experience with being highly committed to safety and quality improvement. You should have a strong human performance culture and commitment to promote HU within the team, with the ability to coach others and a good understanding of the work management process.
