About the Opportunity

Cornwall Council is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Harbour Patrol Team as a Marine Enforcement Agent. This is a fantastic chance to develop your skills and knowledge in marine enforcement and contribute to the success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce harbour regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness and respond to emerging situations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including harbour users and local community groups
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold or be willing to obtain marine-related qualifications (RYA Competency, Boatman's Licence, RYA Short Range Certificate, First Aid Certificate)
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work effectively in a team environment
Benefits and Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including uniform and equipment provision.
