About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at Hartford Care Group Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest possible standards of care are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in clinical governance and management, supervision, and day-to-day running of the home.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards through continual monitoring and practical support.
  • Lead and inspire our dedicated staff team to deliver outstanding, truly personalized care to our residents.
  • Stand in for the Home Manager across the whole range of duties in their absence.
  • Work every other weekend and participate in on-call duties every other week.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with an active PIN number.
  • Previous management experience within a nursing environment.
  • Previous and recent management experience within a nursing home setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Good knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards and NMC Code of Conduct.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of Person-Centred Care.
  • Recent experience and knowledge of dementia care.
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, motivate, and develop a large team of staff.
  • Robust organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills with residents, families, stakeholders, and other relevant bodies.
  • A flexible approach to working hours.
Desirable Qualifications
  • NVQ/RMA/Diploma level 5 or equivalent management qualification.
  • Experience in delivering internal training for staff members.
  • A sound grasp of business and operational management within a large organization.
