At GLL, we're seeking a skilled Fitness Instructor to join our team at Highgrove Pool and Fitness Centre. As a Fitness Instructor, you'll play a vital role in helping people achieve their fitness goals by providing expert guidance and support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and analyzing information about individual clients to create personalized fitness plans
  • Designing and delivering safe and effective exercise sessions, including group classes and one-on-one training
  • Providing inductions and general exercise programs, including introducing clients to new equipment
  • Teaching classes or small group training, with training provided to ensure you're equipped to do so
  • Producing program cards for clients and suggesting exercise adaptations to meet individual needs
  • Using logical and progressive teaching methodologies to introduce a range of exercises
  • Providing clients with general advice on how to progress their individual programs
  • Assisting clients with correcting unsafe technique and promoting retention and adherence to exercise
