Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Our client, a leading automotive business, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team in Oxford. As a key member of their production facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of automated production lines.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience in precision manufacturing, with skills including mechanical and electrical support, knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs. Your ability to maintain planned preventative maintenance schedules, attend to breakdowns, and ensure maximum performance from vital production equipment will be essential. Additionally, you should have experience in fault-finding of PLC-controlled equipment and robotics, as well as supporting continuous improvement activities.
Your Skills and Qualifications
Prior experience in precision manufacturing, such as automotive, aerospace, or rail systems
Prior experience as a Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Technician
Sound knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems and automated production equipment, including PLCs and robotics
Desirable qualifications include 18th Edition electrical certification, experience in the automotive industry, and knowledge of IATF16949 quality management systems.
