PHSE Instructor

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £140 - £250 per day

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PHSE Educator for a full-time position at a client school in Sheffield.

Job Summary:

• Deliver high-quality PHSE lessons to students, promoting their personal and social development.
• Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive lesson plans.
• Encourage students to develop positive attitudes and values.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver PHSE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes student growth.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements:

• A relevant teaching qualification (QTS) and a degree in a related field.
• Experience teaching PHSE at secondary level.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
