Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team at Crowthers Chartered Accountants. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies, ensuring accurate calculations and timely submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare personal and business tax returns, including corporation tax and VAT, ensuring accurate calculation of tax liabilities and timely submissions.
  • Support junior colleagues, guiding their workflows and contributing to their professional development.
  • Assist managers and directors with ad-hoc advisory work and project work.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to ensure compliance and accurate advice.

Requirements:

  • Newly or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tax preparation tools (IRIS and Xero preferred).
