About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and dispatching inventory to meet customer demands.
- Quality inspecting parts, components, and orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Palletizing or decanting and loading boxes and stillages to optimize storage and shipping.
- Booking items on to computerized stock control systems to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Placing supplier-delivered parts and components in the correct stock location and notifying the line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
- Overseeing the dispatch of orders in a timely manner and coordinating van deliveries.
- Operating forklift trucks (training provided) to efficiently move inventory.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment to ensure a healthy and productive workspace.
Requirements
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and manage workload.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a professional, proactive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Understanding of the importance of customer service and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm to undertake relevant training and development opportunities.
