About the Role

This is a hands-on position that requires a blend of technical understanding and strong interpersonal skills. As a Sales Estimator, you will handle customer enquiries, review CAD drawings, and provide detailed quotations for Tier 1 construction clients. Your ability to quickly assess client needs and propose tailored solutions will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responding to Enquiries: Manage incoming customer enquiries via email and phone, helping customers select suitable products.
  • Quotation Preparation: Review CAD drawings and models to develop accurate quotations.
  • Data Management: Enter and track project information and follow-up tasks on the CRM.
  • Customer Relations: Follow up on quotes, manage CRM follow-up tasks, and build confidence in the product offerings through strong product knowledge and customer service.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to drive project momentum.

In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary between £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 31 days holiday, sales-based bonus, 5 paid sick days per year, free lunches, onsite parking, and modern air-conditioned offices. Requirements:

  • Technical Background: Experience with construction drawings and models.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills and confidence when speaking with customers on the phone.
  • Organisational Ability: Strong ability to manage follow-up tasks and stay organised in a busy work environment.
  • Computer Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office apps and HubSpot (or similar CRM software).
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and aligned with values of humility, innovation, focus, enthusiasm, and integrity.
