Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to breakdowns and conduct fault-finding and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance activities to maintain equipment and reduce the risk of breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety protocols and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment.
  • Hold relevant qualifications, such as HNC or NVQ in engineering.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
