About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Plant Operator at our Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the safe operation of the AD plant, including routine checking and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in the intake, sorting, and loading of food waste arriving on site.
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness on the site.
  • Follow health and safety and environmental regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to achieve plant performance targets.
Requirements
  • Positive attitude towards health and safety and working with regulatory bodies.
  • Relevant experience in a related industry, preferably with a driving license.
  • Telehandler experience and a certificate would be an advantage, but training will be provided if not already held.
  • Ability to work a rota basis, including weekends.

  • Competitive salary: £24,000 - £27,000 dependent on experience + Overtime.
