Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Care Worker to join our team at Gables House, a specialist residential children's home in Kent. As a Therapeutic Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children aged 11-13.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain safe, supportive relationships with children
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement individual care plans
- Contribute to the creation of a therapeutic environment that promotes the emotional and psychological well-being of children
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children therapeutically or in a residential setting
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive environment
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and well-being of children
