About the Role:
We are seeking a Procurement Strategist to join our team in Ipswich. As a key member of our client's engineering and manufacturing company, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective global supply chain strategies. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive global supply chain strategies, incorporating market analysis and predictive modeling models.
* Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality materials and components, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws.
* Analyze and optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, leveraging the latest technologies and techniques in supply chain operations.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification, preferably with CIPS certification or equivalent experience.
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience in international procurement or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results in global supply chain operations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
