About the Role

Project Manager - Defects and Remediation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our defects and remediation projects across the UPP portfolio. As a key member of our Asset Management team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of defect management from construction completion to the full operational phase of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the closure of defects during and after the 12-month defects liability period
  • Progress latent defects, including identification, analysis, management, and resolution before the expiry of the 12-year contractual limitation period
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective defect management
  • Develop and implement defect management strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
Requirements
  • Proven track record of working on post-construction stages of large-scale construction projects
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of post-construction defect management, aftercare, and contractual obligations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of personal and professional credibility
  • Ability to work successfully with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
