IT Facilitator

Essential Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following essential requirements:

• A strong background in computer science and IT\
• Experience in teaching or delivering IT activities to children\
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
• The ability to adapt to new situations and work independently\
• Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)\
• Good physical health and fitness\
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends\
• Reliable transportation to and from work\
• A valid DBS check\
• A level 3 qualification in Childcare or Education\

Desirable Requirements

The following qualifications and experience are desirable but not essential:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field\
• Experience in coding with Python and using a Microbit\
• Experience working with children with special needs\
• Fluency in a second language\
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Adobe Certified Expert)\
• Proven track record of innovation and creativity in IT education\
