Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Transformation Specialist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. This role will play a crucial part in shaping the future of pediatric care, driving transformation and improvement across our services.

As a Clinical Transformation Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients, while supporting and guiding junior staff in their development. You will have detailed clinical knowledge of specialist areas and provide direct patient care.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior Sister/Charge Nurses to ensure high standards of quality care are delivered and maintained. You will facilitate high-quality education and staff development opportunities, enabling nurses to acquire clinical and professional competencies.

This is a full-time post requiring collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver high standards of effective healthcare within best practice guidelines. You will act as a resource of specialised knowledge and clinical expertise, ensuring care delivered to ill children and their families is appropriate and optimal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate awareness of legislation regarding ill children and their families, e.g. child protection, vulnerable adults, mental health issues, and act appropriately when required.
  • Promote the shared objectives of the multidisciplinary team by working closely to ensure that best practice is achieved utilising both Clinical Benchmarking and Improving Quality Programme processes.

Salary: £38,693 - £45,646 Per Annum (Pro Rata)
