Key Responsibilities:- Conduct quarterly inspections of all common part fire doors across various sites to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
- Perform annual inspections of flat front doors to verify their compliance with fire safety standards.
- Utilize dedicated software to report any defects, wear and tear, or non-compliance issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all inspections, including dates, findings, and actions taken.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fire safety regulations and standards.
- Participate in fire safety audits and reviews as required.
- Communicate effectively with building managers, residents, and other stakeholders regarding fire safety issues and inspection schedules.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge related to fire safety and door inspections.
- Experience as a Fire Door Inspector or a similar role in fire safety is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of fire door components, installation, and maintenance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules.
- Good communication skills.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
