About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Personal Development Tutor to join our Pastoral Team at our College Adams Campus. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our students to become 'Future Ready' and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver an effective and efficient tutorial programme to support students in developing personal characteristics and social skills, employability skills, and academic progress.
  • Facilitate group sessions and one-to-one meetings with students to provide guidance and support, and to help them set and achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with the Pastoral Team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment, and to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address any barriers to student success, and to develop strategies to support students who are struggling.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of college-wide initiatives to promote student well-being and success.
Requirements
  • GCSE A* – C in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Experience of managing groups of students and delivering group tutorials.
  • Good ICT and administration skills.
  • A relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
