About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer to join our client's pioneering team in Norwich. This exciting opportunity presents a chance to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic engineering environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analogue and digital electrical circuit designs and solutions to support the development and life cycle of naval systems. This role primarily involves analogue and digital hardware design, with additional focus on wiring design for interconnecting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing electrical and electronic solutions based on defined requirements
  • Selecting and evaluating components/parts
  • Generating test, interface, and supplier documentation
  • Assisting in initial prototype testing
  • Writing reports, making presentations, and liaising with clients and management
  • Performing other duties as reasonably required
About the Candidate:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical and Electronic Design Engineer with a strong background in circuit design, simulation, layout, testing, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field, as well as proficiency in creating interface and equipment specifications.

Desirable skills include knowledge of industry standards, experience with PCB layout packages, and strong presentation skills. We offer a competitive salary of up to £70k per annum DOE, opportunities for career growth and skill development, and an innovative and collaborative work environment.
