About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Discover Retail. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Conduct thorough fault-finding and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Work closely with external engineers and 3rd-party contractors to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
  • Participate in new project implementations, including the installation and commissioning of new production machinery.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Hold a valid forklift truck licence and IPAF licence (desirable).
  • Level 3 in Electrical Installation 18th Edition.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A strong interest in building a career as a Maintenance Engineer, with a flexible approach to adapt to changing business needs.
