About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our Customer Intelligence team at SAS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and CSS technologies
  • Work closely with visual designers and UX experts to ensure design intent is met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software within a continuous-release schedule
  • Make architectural and design decisions for the product's user interface
  • Engage in discussions with product management regarding new business requirements

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of professional experience developing enterprise web applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with a JavaScript framework such as React, Vue, Angular, etc.
  • Experience using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS to build high-quality, scalable user interfaces
  • Understanding and usage of design patterns for UI and programming concepts
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, or similar cloud offerings
  • Right to work in the UK

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React, JSX, Redux, and Jest
  • Experience with JavaScript ES6 and TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of JSON and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with asynchronous request handling and AJAX
  • Ability to work on a cross-functional team, including UX and Visual Design
