Palliative Care Nurse

Role Overview: Working as a Nurse at Marie Curie is profoundly fulfilling on multiple levels. As a Nurse, you will deliver exceptional nursing care while engaging in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients in a palliative care environment, ensuring they can spend their final days with dignity.
You will be part of a compassionate team that values your professional growth. Employing a patient-centered approach and evidence-based practices, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating from admission through to discharge. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with the NMC's and the Charity's guidelines. Additionally, you will provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to both patients and their families.

Candidate Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with Level 1 Registration
- Experience in NHS or relevant palliative care settings
- Ability to thrive in complex and high-pressure environments with effective coping strategies
- Understanding of palliative care principles and the needs of patients with complex symptoms and at end of life
- Proactive mindset with excellent communication skills
