CNC Miller Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our team at Syntech Recruitment Ltd. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program and operate CNC milling machines to ensure efficient and safe processes.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to deliver high-quality products.
  • Create layout sheets to document tooling, setups, and machine parameters.
  • Maintain high standards of work and self-verify quality using measuring tools.
  • Assist and train other operators to share expertise and skills.
Requirements:
  • A time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in programming and operating 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC machines.
  • Proficiency in Heidenhain controls and experience with Fanuc controls is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with operating Doosan, Matsuura, and Mazak machines.
  • Able to produce parts to tight tolerances, around 20?m.
  • Experience milling large parts (up to 2.5m).
