Senior Design Manager

Galliford Try is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to lead the design process for projects, ensuring they meet or exceed customer requirements and framework deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the design process, identifying and mitigating risks, and finding opportunities for value engineering to minimize risk and maximize gross profit.
- Support the fulfillment of contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality.
- Lead the appointment of design and associated consultants, ensuring contractual requirements are captured and deliverables are clearly defined.
- Manage and take ownership of all design processes and information flow on design and build and heavily CDP contracts.
- Assess and evaluate design outputs to ensure alignment with relevant RIBA stages.
- Construction/Design related HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent.
- BIM expertise.
- New build and refurbishment experience in core markets, including education buildings, healthcare projects, civic, frameworks, traditional, and D&B contracts.
- Managing designers and other consultants, preferably with a design background.
- Proven ability to deliver design for projects on time, to budget, quality standards, with high customer satisfaction results.
- Computer literate and commercially astute.
