Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Williams Manufacturing. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery
  • Carry out pre-planned maintenance schedules to prevent downtime
  • Conduct electrical maintenance on 3-phase machinery, drives, motors, sensors, and PLCs
  • Perform mechanical maintenance tasks, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes
  • Participate in machinery strip-down and rebuild, upgrades, and installation work
  • Assist with basic facilities maintenance as needed
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and 3-phase electrics
  • Ability to fault-find on PLCs and other electrical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
