Job Title: Business Contract Analyst

About the Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Contract Analyst to join our team in Peterhead, working closely with the Legal and Contracts Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed contract analysis, identifying legal and commercial risks, and providing valuable insights to inform negotiations.

About You
We are looking for a talented individual with excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of contracts in the energy or industrial sectors. You will possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with all management levels, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing detailed analysis of contracts, assessing risks, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Providing legal and commercial feedback to support negotiations for more favourable terms.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts, including Framework Agreements, Service Contracts, and Supply of Goods Contracts.
  • Collaborating with Finance and Commercial Teams to address tax implications and insurance matters.
  • Attending meetings with customers and suppliers to offer contractual guidance.
  • Assisting in the development and revision of standard terms, conditions, and contractual procedures.
  • Ensuring proper administration, filing, and organisation of contractual documents.
  • Advising on existing contractual obligations and potential exposures.

Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience.
