Job Overview

This position will involve providing clinical leadership for the IBD teams, supporting service excellence for patient care, and inspiring a culture of compassionate care for IBD patients. The post holder will be accountable for the professional practice and development of IBD nursing and patient care.

  • To further develop nurse-led clinics, such as a virtual clinic for those patients who are on biological treatment, new patient clinics.
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing effective joint working relationships with nursing and medical colleagues across three hospitals: Manchester Royal Infirmary, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester Hospital.
