Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our client's team in Worthing. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including actors, artists, sports professionals, and businesses in the entertainment sector.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with HMRC on clearance applications, enquiries, and other tax-related matters
- Draft reports and letters of advice on tax advisory issues
- Prepare calculations to support tax advice
- Liaise with clients and attend meetings with team members
- Train and review the work of junior staff members
- Support Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group
- Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, and staff incentive schemes
- Advising owner-managed businesses on remuneration planning, succession planning, and tax compliance
- Preparing research and development claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returns
- Advising individuals on IHT planning and CGT mitigation
- Reviewing corporate tax computations and returns
- CTA qualification or AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification with a keen interest in studying towards CTA
- Experience with corporate taxes is essential, and experience in other areas of tax is beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Excellent teamwork and organisational skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background
