Skilled Claims Professional

We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our dynamic team at Hireful. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the claims process from instruction through to finalisation and closure.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, providing timely advice and support to agents while ensuring legal obligations are met and insurer costs are minimised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of claims, inputting, assessing, and storing relevant documents and evidence on corresponding systems for audit purposes.
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers primarily via telephone, email, and post, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct thorough fact finds, highlighting potential barriers to claim progression and providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Accurately manage and calculate financial payment requisitions as part of the claim, ensuring efficient payments to policyholders.
  • Maintain effective customer relationships to ensure claim progression efficiency and accuracy.
  • Identify and escalate any fraud indicators highlighted from fraud measures in place.

Compensation:

  • A competitive salary range: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
  • A comprehensive benefits package including a company pension scheme and enhanced maternity and paternity leave package.
