Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client's finance team in Ulverston. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of transactional finance staff, overseeing financial reporting, management accounts production, and providing commentary and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of transactional finance staff, responsible for their training and development
- Ownership for all financial reporting, management accounts production, commentary, and analysis
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Review of AP and AR activities
- Work closely with senior management to ensure effective decisions are made
Requirements:
The successful candidate will be proven in a similar level role with strong leadership and staff management capabilities. Strong technical ability is required, as well as demonstrating good commercial acumen to support effective business decision making.
