Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and snacks in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchens, dining rooms, and associated equipment.
- Support the production, portioning, and distribution of meals and snacks.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure a safe and efficient food service.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
