Key Responsibilities

This role involves overseeing the successful delivery of all event build projects in-house. As a seasoned project manager, you will lead and develop the Project Management team to ensure profitable projects are tendered, won, and fulfilled on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand the complete scope of work for all projects
  • Take briefs from concept and quoting stage through to full project delivery
  • Monitor and maintain a high level of finish and detail
  • Manage several projects simultaneously
  • Lead customer escalation issues through to conclusion
  • Mentor new team members in company methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with company H&S requirements
  • Meet and exceed client expectations to drive repeat business
Additional Responsibilities

In addition to managing multiple projects, you will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with craftspeople to complete work on time and to the highest possible standard
  • Tracking budget spend and project margin, making adjustments as required
  • Contributing to business development by identifying opportunities for the company to extend its service to new and existing clients
On-Site Management

You will be responsible for managing the on-site schedule, ensuring strong production values in finish and safety, and being the lead liaison between the company and the client/venue. Additionally, you will provide support for team members on site and be an ambassador for the company at all times.

Post-Delivery Activities

You will take the lead on providing feedback to stakeholders, prompt client and internal debriefs, and promote Health and Safety best practice, ensuring compliance with all procedures and disciplines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience of project management and delivery of staging, build, and events projects, including tech within the events industry
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support the wider team
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a creative flair for problem-solving while working to changing timelines and priorities
  • The ability to work with autonomy on various projects, demonstrating excellent time management skills
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong organisational ability to manage various workloads/projects
  • Ability to professionally manage teams while out on site
  • Managing financial quotes and keeping to budgets
  • Highly self-motivated, with a commercial approach to managing projects
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to understand and suggest solutions considering all departments of the business
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to provide solutions

Salary Estimate
