Chemotherapy Nurse Job Opportunity

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a reputable and award-winning recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Chemotherapy Nurse to work in Liverpool on a full-time basis.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough patient assessments, administering chemotherapy drugs, and providing emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments before, during, and after chemotherapy treatments.
  • Administer chemotherapy drugs and other medications as prescribed.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and side effects.
  • Educate patients and their families about chemotherapy treatments and self-care practices.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate patient care.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
Requirements
  • Valid and current RN registration.
  • Completion of a specialized chemotherapy or oncology nursing certification program.
  • Prior experience in oncology or chemotherapy administration is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in administering chemotherapy, managing intravenous lines, and safely handling cytotoxic drugs.
